Being able to “AC couple” a battery, charging it from the AC power
rather than directly from DC, allows the house builder to install
batteries in locations other than the loft space.
Using the GridBuddy Combo, the battery can be installed outside the
property in our purpose-built IP rated housing, reducing any concerns
regarding safety. Through a single simple to use platform, users can
see everything their energy generates, stores and uses.
